Very high quality wood and metal kit from the Golden Age of HO Craftsman kit. Builds a very accurate and highly detailed prototype of this 42' Box Car. Kit features pre-cut and pre-scribed hardwood sides that are factory painted and colored for Rock Island. Also includes pre-cut and milled floor and roof, other cut wood and stock as needed, metal doors, car ends, brake parts, ladders, other metal details and more. The model has never been started. The parts are still sealed in factory bags. Includes full size plans/instructions. Con-Cor was out of Chicago, IL and this kit is from the 1950s.
