Note the four digit part number extension, Mattel logo and "Blue Box" dated 1967. This airplane is a civil F3F that was flown for Gulf Oil by the famous stunt pilot Al Williams. The kit has several action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals including striping, sliding canopy, instructions for rigging, and is molded in clear, orange and gray.
