1/24 2796 Monogram Predicta Personal Car by Darryl Starbird Sealed Exc+++ Injection Molded old Still factory sealed. Hard-to-find reissue from 1990. This kit uses the original molds from this 1964 kit. The Starbird-designed Predicta was the crowd's favorite, traveling over 50,000 miles coast-to-coast and winning many car shows, including the famous Oakland Roadster Show. She was the first in the custom field to have an electrically operated full Lucite Bubble Top and 'Unistick' steering where the wheels are turned by a centrally-located aircraft style control stick. Power was provided by a 392 CID '57 Chrysler Fuel Injection engine. The kit features operating 'Unistick' steering, working bubble top, opening hood, detailed engine, deep dish chrome plated wheels and highly detailed interior.
