1/144 4225 Revell Dornier DO X (DO-X) Flying Boat Fair Injection Molded old Famous German Flying Boat built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in ocean liner-like luxury. A tour of South and North American was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP. Very nicely detailed kit. Never started. Factory sealed bags with decals and instructions. Box has damage as shown but parts are mint. $58.00 |
