1/72 5052-100 UPC Supermarine Spitfire XIV and V-1 Flying Bomb (ex-Frog) Exc++ Injection Molded old From ex-Frog molds. Well molded kit like most all Frog models. Includes V-1 and Spitfire as well as a special stand. Spitfire has optional markings for 'Punjab' Sq RAF Dienst Belgium 1945 or No.132 Sq RAF SEAC Kai Tak Hong Kong 1945. This kit has not been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufactures and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s. $24.00 |
