Features fine, recessed panel lines, nicely detailed engine, rigging diagrams and removable cowling. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. In 1929 at the National Air Races in Cleveland, Ohio the Wright Whirlwind powered Travel Air and it's pilot Doug Davis beat the finest Army and Navy pilots to win the first presentation of the legendary Thompson Trophy.
