1/48 500-100 Hawk Republic P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback or Bubble Top Versions USAAF or RAF Exc+++ Injection Molded old Great older kit with nice detail. Hardbox is dated 1965 and shows a action diorama with both Jugs warming the engines up. Can make Razorback or Bubble Top versions. Has markings for ace Robert S. Johnson with the 56th FG and 28 confirmed kills. The other markings are for an RAF aircraft seen at Newark, NJ on Feb. 16, 1945 (see notes below). NOTE: one drop tank has been assembled and primed. Excellent quality assembly with no gaps and no visible glue. No other paint or assembly. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the antenna is correct for a Hawk P-47, but is a different color plastic as it is from a later issue. 5 transfers were cut from the decal sheet and two (of four) large British roundels are missing. $28.00 |
