1/192 H319-298 Revell USS Constitution Old Ironsides 'S' Issue Exc- Injection Molded old 'Green Background' 'S' issue. This is one of two 'S' versions from 1956, making this model the 2nd or 3rd issue. The other 'S' version has a light blue background. The 1st and 2nd issues were Pre-S. Instead of the storyboard history of the ship on the side panels, both S issues have pictures of Revell's extensive kit line on the sides and the "S" logo on the short ends. Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed. This kit is no exception and has excellent detail. Kit comes with preformed ratlines and full rigging instructions. Never started. Parts are still sealed in the factory bag. Includes assembly/rigging instructions, rigging material and flag sheet. Even includes the small sealed tube of Revell "S" Cement. $85.00 |
