1/48 Hillcrest 1910 Curtiss Pusher Model A VG++ Injection Molded old Old and rare kit from the 1950s. When most kits were wood, Hillcrest has to put "Prefabricated Parts" on the cover to distinguish it from other models of the time. The kit has injection molded main parts in the frame of the actual aircraft. The small cello bag is still sealed and contains cast metal details such as the engine and tank and the clear molded wheel disks. There is powered glue with instructions as adhesive for injection molded kits was not available in stores. The frame is covered in tissue which is supplied. The instructions have a very nice three view drawing, parts diagram and written instructions. Never started.
