Has markings for No 41 Sqn, RAF Church Fenton, Yorkshire 1950 or No. 19 Sqn., RAF, Church Fenton, Yorkshire, 1950. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Hornets took part in a major incident in US/UK/PRC relations on July 23, 1954, when PLAAF La-7s (or -11s) shot down Cathay Pacific DC-4 VR-HEU near Hong Kong. Hornets from 80 Squadron Kai Tak (not depicted in the Frog kit decals) are scrambled and the first to locate the survivors. Two days later, 7th Fleet AD-1s splash two Lavochkins in the same area.

NOTE: he built minor sub assemblies (cockpit tubs, wing halves, etc) to 'professional' quality. He also almost always removed the displays stands (if provided). 1956 first and only issue in remarkable condition inside and out - the finest I have ever seen. The box top is in 'Excellent++' condition. It has factory-new color and gloss, no creases, fading, stains, holes or tears. There are no price tags, no tag marks and no tape or tape marks (other than the factory sealing tape of course). There are no marks from the decorative ribbon Revell shipped them with, which is very rare. Flaws include: light and isolated general wear, some edge and corner wear and two old original store stamped prices (discounts) on the left short panel that have been neatly blacked out. Inside, it is exactly as it left the factory and contains a colorful, factory-sealed tube of Revell S Cement, all five aircraft models with the two correct dividers. All five kits are still in the factory sealed clear bags. The tray (lower box) is in 'excellent' condition. All kits contain the famous Revell clear 'Globe' stand. It would be difficult to find a better example of this kit, especially since there is no ribbon stain on the box top.

Very, very rare and a true investment piece. Shizukyo started in the 1960s but was out of business before the end of the decade. This kit is likely from the early 60s. Big scale kit is well molded and detailed for that time and features motorized operation on the rear drive wheels to move the treads and a good size flashing red bulb at the end of the barrel that 'fires' the gun. Features Tkk Mabuchi RE25 motor that is still in the original old-style TKK box, complete with printed plastic wrapper and sealed accessory bag, all metal gear box, a sealed bag with numerous pieces of metal hardware for motorized operation, wire, a red electric light bulb and more. The actual kit is molded in a black or very, very dark green plastic. Inside, the kit has never been touched. All the smaller parts are still in the factory sealed bags with color headers. All the small metal parts, glue and bulb are still in sealed bags. The only parts that were not sealed are the upper and lower hull, upper and lower turret and gear box. The instructions are in 'excellent++' condition and the decals are still in the sealed bag and 'very good' with moderate yellowing being the only flaw. Amazingly, the treads are in 'near mint' condition and completely intact - they are still very flexible! NOTE: this kit must be shipped insured.
