Very likely the 3rd issue of this kit because the boxtop oval logo does not have the 'Famous Fighters' in the border, making this the 1963+ issue. This was a good kit for the time, featuring 'good' cockpit detail, pilot and student figures, rotating prop and US Navy decals. Molded in yellow and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing two part, the prop shaft and machine gun barrel (both very easily made). Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions.

The famous mutiny ship of Captain Bligh and Fletcher Christian fame. Rare 1961 hardbox issue with fantastic John Steel artwork and MGM Studios 'Mutiny on the Bounty' movie promotion side panels and photos of Marlon Brando and Trevor Howard. Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed and this kit is no exception. Features full hull, detailed deck and all fittings, preformed ratlines, vac sails, full rigging instructions and more. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the two factory sealed bags and includes flag sheet and instructions. It is worth noting that there are significant differences in the hull on this version vs. the 1956 "S" version. At some point Revell either did mold modifications or cut new molds.

Very rare and dated 1963. First and only Four-Star issue of this rare accessory for customizing and of Monogram's large 1/8 car kits or any other larger car kit. Includes one pair of M&H Racemaster Dragster 8.00-15 white sidewall drag slicks molded in a rubber-like plastic, hollow and flexible. The tires and their whitewalls are mint, as they left the factory. Never used and complete with instructions. The clear cellophane window on the back is in mint condition. In an attempt to make the superb but very expensive 1/8 car molds pay off, Monogram issued some parts separately as accessories for any larger car models. The entire line came out in 1963 and consisted of AK201-59 Six Carb Assembly, AK202-59 Oval Gas Tank, AK203-79 Drag Race Set, AK204-79 GMC Blower Set, AK205-79 Chrome Wheel Set, AK206-100 White Wall Drag Slicks and AK207-79 White Wall Tires. Sales were very weak because all of the 1/8 scale car kits were very expensive for that time, so and the line was discontinued.

The 4th issue of the classic 'Four Star' Kit and has the Mattel logo. This is great kit featuring retracting landing gear, rotating wheels/props, three man crew, optional position cabin door and survivor in a life raft. Molded in gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and while the actual aircraft is complete, NOTE: missing one survivor (that sits in the raft). Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions. The box has black pen writing on the far right if you look carefully. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.
