The box has stains, but the decals and instructions are both in 'near mint' condition. First issue from 1968 and includes markings for Fighting Squadron 2 which operated from the USS Lexington (CV-2) in the 1930s. Very finely molded and detailed with traditional Monogram quality. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The last 'Boeing Bipe' was one of the most maneuverable planes ever built. It had a top speed of 184 mph and was unusually rugged. The box would grade higher, but there is masking tape on the two long sides.

NOTE: he built sub assemblies to 'professional' quality. Some assembly is minor but some is major. He also almost always removed the display stands (if provided). 1966 first issue in amazing investment-grade 'Mint' condition. The original owner opened the box but carefully left the original seal on the box top. As you know, I hesitate to call anything 'Mint' but this box has no more wear than when it came off the West Hempstead assembly line to go to the sealer. It has fantastic Roy Grinnell that was only used on the first issue. The assembled model is big 21 inches long. Features swing wings, correct retractable landing gear, good cockpit detail, pilot and radar navigator and Air Force markings. Includes the famous clear triangle-based Aurora 'Globe' stand. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
