From 1992 and from new molds. A well detailed model of the famous Condor in its original role as a civil transport. Features detailed cockpit, clear side windows, detailed gear wells, optional position landing gear and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The highlight of this kit is the large and colorful decals for the two civilian airliners. This exact aircraft that is modeled had a very interesting history. In July of 1939, the Brazilian Airline 'Syndicato Condor Limitada' took delivery of this aircraft and it flew on the Rio de Janeiro-Bunenos Aires and Rio-Porto Algre runs. The Condor gave excellent service until 1947 when the lack of spares and damage from a ground accident finally forced their retirement. The BOAC ship was originally operated by Denmark and was confiscated by England at the outbreak of war.

Original dealer promotional model in 'good-' condition. There is very little body warping which is rare. The original friction drive is intact. Cream and purple color is original but has general wear and some age foxing as shown. The clear is 'very good' but can use cleaning. The tires are almost like new - if it was played with, it was not for long. No parts are missing and it is original except that the chassis has been painted black and some of the fine trim (door handles, trim, etc) has been correctly and very neatly adult painted. The quality is good enough to pass for factory paint.

Rare four door sedan. Original dealer promotional model; not a reissue. It has a metal chassis and is all original on the underside except the friction motor has been removed. I listed this as SMP, but it may have been AMT. The strongpoint of this model is the body, body parts, chassis and tires. These bodies were all celluloid plastic; this one does have some warping and is better than 90% of the survivors. The tires show no wear, the whitewalls are almost perfect and the bumpers are great except some slight chrome loss on the front one. The clear is missing. The fine trim and white cove have been correctly painted to 'excellent' quality by the previous owner. The box is not original. NOTE: I would only recommend this promo for restoration if you can find a donor windshield.

Very high quality model and the only 1/350 scale model ever made of the McCain. BWN said they made the finest ship models available and it was no idle boast. The master was researched in depth and built to museum standards. In making the molds, the silicone was de-aired in a vacuum chamber; then the resin was pressure cast. This method makes for virtually air-bubble-free parts with flawless detail. Scale fidelity and historical accuracy are top-rate throughout. Features museum-quality resin castings, metal details and a large fret of photoetched brass parts. Includes very good pictorial and text instructions. NOTE: this kit has minor 'professional' quality assembly. The basic hull only is assembled and one coat of primer has been airbrushed on. There is no other assembly. The small parts and fittings are still in the internal factory sealed bags. Includes PE fret, instructions AND decals (Blue Water Navy did not furnish decals with this kit - they are aftermarket decals).

Includes both superb ship models from modern 2006 Revell of Germany molds. Both are full hull models with excellent detail. And Revell took the time to capture the differences between the two ships in these models. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The story of Emden's Indian Ocean raiding career in WWI is legendary. The story of Dresden's short career in WWI also interesting. She was serving with the German East Asiatic Squadron; near the start of hostilities they made a voyage across the Pacific Ocean hoping to go around South America and return to Germany via the Atlantic. The squadron came across Sir Christopher Cradock's British Squadron in the South Pacific at Coronel. There the Germans won a great victory over Cradock; the problem was that now the Germans were sited and their intentions known. The British positioned battlecruisers at the Falkland islands in anticipation; they did not have long to wait. When the Germans were sighted, the British casually got ready then sailed, knowing their superior speed and gun range could make short work of the biggest ships the Germans had. The British were correct; the Germans were soundly defeated off the Falklands. However, the Dresden was the only German ship to survive. She went back around Cape Horn in the Pacific and successfully hid for several months, only to be eventually found near Mas a Tierra (Chile) by Glasgow and Kent. Knowing that escape was impossible, the Dresden was scuttled by her crew. The wreck still lies in the harbor today.
