First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: instructions are dated 1956 but have the oval 'Famous Fighters' logo. It was very common for Aurora to mix instructions and boxes; they always used up the old boxes first and would also substitute new instructions.

SALE!! Includes all 5 kits in the three boxes shown. NOTE: Sold AS-IS and not inventoried. This collector was very meticulous and of his kits that I did inventory, 95% are complete. But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. NOTE: he built minor sub assemblies (cockpit tubs, wing halves, etc) to 'professional' quality. On two Willows, there is major construction; they are almost finished. Again, these kits are sold not inventoried and AS IS hence the very low price.

From the 1980s or very late 1970s. Nicely detailed model of this unique diesel powered bomber and civil transport. With markings for either air force. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the very front section of one fuselage half is neatly broken off. Both parts are present and fit back perfectly. The easy way to fix this is to assemble both fuselage halves, then glue the broken part to the other side and the side it came from. Decals are intact but have age foxing to the backing paper only.

Still factory sealed. This kit dates 1977 and is from quality Airfix molds for MPC 'Air Combat Collection', which includes ground crew. Note that this issue does not have 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued (possibly with this issue) although MPC continued to distribute Airfix models.
