Life-size kit from this famous and popular series. Unique kit contains paint in 5 colors, brush, clear eyes and stand. Never started. The parts are still in the factory sealed internal bag. With paint brush, never used paints and instructions. Bachmann Brothers Inc of Philadelphia, PA had three unique plastic kits series. One was Birds of the World, another was Dogs of the World and also Animals of the World. The Birds included Baltimore Oriole, Goldfinch, Bluebird, Scarlet Tanager, Red Headed Woodpecker, Evening Grosbeak, Kinglet, Robin, Parakeet, Barn Swallow, Cardinal, Blue Jay, Hooded Warbler, Pitta, Canary, Bohemian Waxwing, Parrot, Painted Bunting, Owl and Hoopoe. The Dogs included Collie, Basset Hound, Wire Haired Terrier, German Shepherd, Boxer, Pointer, Cocker Spaniel, Poodle, Dalmatian and St. Bernard. The Animals line had the Morgan Horse, Lion, Tiger, Squirrel monkey, Deer & Fawn, Panda, Zebra, Leopard and Cow & Calf.

Aurora Ford V-8 Commercial Truck with 40 Ton Flat Bed Trailer and Power Shovel, 1/64, 683-98

Very rare. The rectangular 'The Aurora Line' full color logo dates this kit as the first issue from 1954/1955. Of the early Aurora vehicles, this kit is 'holy grail.' It was reissued in 1957/59 as a military truck and shovel, but was never issued again in civil decoration. The box is complete, has four solid original corners, no repairs, and very good color and gloss. There are no rips, tears or missing litho, no tape and no price tag. Flaws include light age foxing as shown and light surface and edge wear. Molded in the correct dark blue (truck), bright yellow (trailer) and orange (shovel). With black rubber tires. Inside, the kit is as it left the factory. All parts are still sealed in the factory clear bags. Includes decals and instructions that are both in 'excellent++' condition.

Rare first issue from around 1953/54. Nicely designed kit is molded in silver and dark blue and real rubber tires. Includes decals for the box top truck. The tanker section has opening valve box doors, valves and piping. The cab features detailed suspension, engine, interior and opening hood as well as an operating fifth wheel so you can disconnect the trailer from the cab. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The box displays slightly better than the 'good+'+' grade but is rated as such because there is a 1/2" closed tear on the upper side panel and the lower box (tray) has seam splits on one side.

Rare first issue from around 1953/54 and a nicely designed kit. The truck and trailer are both molded in bright red and have real rubber tires. The tanker section has opening valve box doors and valves with piping. The White 3000 truck features frame construction with separately molded suspension, dual and single wheels, gas tanks, 5th wheel coupler, interior and two piece cab. The kit has never been started. Inventoried with all parts and instructions present. NOTE: missing decals.

Based on a 1954 design by Mahieu, the BMJR Kiwi has a 35" wingspan and 200 sq. in area. Kiwi is a high performance, low pylon model capable of handling the hottest engines, with an almost straight-up climb.

Condor Messerschmitt Me-163A, 1/72, C72002

This is the prototype of the Me-163B Komet. The Me-163A was derived from Dr. Lippisch DFS tail-less gliders. These were seen as ideal platforms for the new rocket engines being developed. Tail-less DFS designed continued to fly, but now with pusher propeller engines installed. All went well, so the DFS team was moved to Messerschmitt to build the 163A. After gliding test, powered test were held in which new airspeed records were set. Work quickly moved to the production Me-163B Komet. Still factory sealed.

Rare early issue from the 1950s with dramatic Ray Gaedke artwork. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955. Comes with boarding ladder. Molded in the correct high gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
