Features quality hardwood parts that needed only sanding to finish, smaller detail parts, original wood filler and CASCO glue envelopes, metal nose weight, huge plans with detailed instructions, very large, colorful and comprehensive decal sheet and a great B-24 booklet. Very rare. First and only release dated 1958 that features the Little John missile, Army Jeep, missile launching ramp and three man crew. Features positionable launcher legs that are folded for towing or extended for launch, elevating launching ramp, removable missile and a jeep with rotating wheels, trailer hitch and folding windshield. Molded in the correct army olive drab and white plastic with a clear die-cut jeep windshield. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The decals are perfectly flat, intact and in amazing 'near mint' condition with slight yellowing as the only flaw. The instructions are also 'near mint.'

The fantastic all-Canadian replacement for the CF-100 that was canceled immediately before the first production airframes left the assembly line. The prototypes had flown a great number of hours and the airplane was a great success. The cancellation of the project is still a mystery today in some aviation circles.

Exner Sr. (the famous Chrysler designer) and his son, Virgil Jr. The famous design team, somewhat displeased with modern automobiles, started thinking about what the old time classics would look like today - if made by Packard, Mercer, Duesenberg and Stutz. Virgil Sr. and Jr. thus designed four modern classics and they were published in a national magazine - Renwal then began kit production of these four. Includes the very high quality laser-cut Nautilus Models wooden deck that completely replaces the plastic flight deck on this kit. This is a scale, thick replacement for the Revell flight deck; not a thin overlay. Features optional position elevators, island and superstructure parts locators and full assembly and painting/finishing instructions. Never used, complete and in mint condition. The actual kit is the 1987 reissue of the original 1967 kit. Very nicely done and features 20 SBDs, 20" long hull, movable cranes and optional position elevators. The box art shows the wartime finish, but the kit contains decals for this or the prewar high-vis finish. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Yorktown was one of three prewar sister carriers along with Enterprise (CV-6) and Hornet (CV-8). The Yorktown saw extensive action in the Coral Sea and underwent temporary repairs in record time so she could take part in the Battle of Midway. Damaged by bombs and eventually a spread of submarine-fired 'Long Lance' torpedoes, she was lost after an epic struggle to save the ship.
