First issue hardbox dated 1964 with Tom Morgan box artwork. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II aircraft that Monogram released through the 1960s. Very nicely molded and detailed model in the best Monogram tradition, featuring very fine raised panel detail, recessed control surface lines, full cockpit, pilot figure, optional position landing gear, optional full or open canopy, belly tank and working trailing edge wing landing flaps. Contains decals for USAF, RAF and AVG Flying Tigers (Chinese). The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: the decal sheet is from a later issue of this same kit. They are the exact same transfers and options that this kit came with originally.

This legendary large-scale operating R/C model by Tamiya is highly detailed and beautifully molded. Features 360 degree servo controlled turret rotation, servo controlled gun flashing, duralumin chassis, factory assembled metal gear box and large, powerful electric motor, metal suspension, realistic forward, reverse and turning and more. Metal parts include lower hull, inner and outer drive sprockets, idler wheels, idler tension drums, idler arms, wheel shafts, suspension housing, tension shaft, torsion sway bar and dozens and dozens more. Essentially the entire fully functioning suspension and wheels are metal. The kit has never been started. Almost all parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The few that are not (about 16 screws & nuts and 8 black nylon parts) have been inventoried complete. With decals and instructions. Tamiya did not include the R/C equipment with the kit; it must be purchased separately.

NOTE: this kit has very minor 'professional' quality assembly of 5 small parts as follows: hatch parts #4 & 5 to the turret roof, hatch parts #11 and 25 to the turret side, and slit viewer #24 to turret side. All parts work perfectly and assembly is of the highest quality. There is no other assembly. All of the internal presentation cardboard is present and in 'excellent+' condition. Almost all parts are still in the sealed bags; the few bags that were opened have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decal sheet looks 'near mint' with no yellowing and no curling but is missing (2) red "6", (2) red "0", (2) red "R", some iron crosses and one other small marking.
