Very rare. Most likely from the late 1930s. StromBecker was famous for their line of precarved hardwood kits and they are considered the finest ever made. The carving is done to the final shape which makes them remarkably pre-fabricated. This one features a completely carved to shape fuselage, wings, four engine nacelles and horizontal & vertical stabilizers, four metal propellers, sandpaper, an envelope of powdered glue and high-quality instructions. When built it makes an impressive desk top display. Never started It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing (2) of (4) standard nails that StromBecker included as propeller shafts. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes instructions. Many of these early StromBecker kits did not come with insignia or decals; this one is no exception.

Still factory sealed. Nicely molded kit with all recessed panel lines. Includes decals for 201 through 205. The fantastic all-Canadian replacement for the CF-100 that was canceled immediately before the first production airframes left the assembly line. The prototypes had flown a great number of hours and the airplane was a great success. The cancellation of the project is in some ways still a mystery today in some aviation circles.

This kit is important because Revell was thoughtful enough to alter the venerable PT-17 molds to make a real Super Stearman featuring new cowling/engine, scoops as required and more. This is the only Super Stearman every issued in this scale. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Revell issued three of these 'Airshow' style kits in this year H664, H665 and H666. Each contained two aircraft and a color diorama base, backdrop and special stand. If you have all three kits, the three bases fit together to make a large Air Show diorama with all six aircraft.

ITC was the model manufacturing arm of the giant Ideal Toy Company. Ideal only made plastic models for a very short time in the late 1950s and early 1960s before all production was discontinued. Luckily, they made some great subjects. This Condor is molded in the correct bright orange with blue-tinted clear windows and base. Includes decals for both variants. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. There is no assembly but NOTE: the two fuselage halves are neatly painted the correct dark blue. There is no other painting.
