Very rare. Older but nicely detailed and molded kit. Features motorized drive on the rear wheels through an electric motor under the hood, a step down gear box behind the motor and a transaxle gear box. All hardware is included but Tilt did not include the FA130 motor. Staff Car features steerable front wheels, underside frame detail with suspension, full interior, positionable Hitler figure, driver and staff of 4 officers. Molded in gloss black, ivory, tan, dark green, chrome plate, clear and with real rubber tires. The kit has never been started. Rare. Beautifully molded with all fine recessed surface detail, very good cockpit and crew station and more. Includes paint guide and decals for well-known aircraft. Le Verrier is in the colors of Air France from 1942, Camille Flammarion also from Air France 1942 and Jules Verne as converted into a bomber by French Naval Aviation for a night mission over Berlin June 6/7 1940. From website weasponsandwarfair.com: The 223.4s were stationed at the Lenvéoc-Poulmic airfield, which became their operational base during the German offensive starting on May 10, 1940. The first mission took place on the night of May 13-14, in which the “Jules Verne” bombed the railway junctions of Aachen and Maastricht. Other missions followed to bombard Middelburg and other cities. The idea of an attack over Berlin was a retaliation for operation “Paula”: A German bombing operation against military target aside and in Paris. But bombing Paris as the Germans was way easier than bombing Berlin as the French; German lines were now just a few tens of kilometers from the capital, and while German Bombers were able to benefit from fighter escort, the French bombers couldn’t. However, Corvette Captain Henri Laurent Daillière was not a man to cancel such an operation because of his fear. The Jules Verne took off in the afternoon of the 7th of June, in order to arrive over Berlin in the middle of the night. It carried not only eight 250kg bombs, but also eighty 10kg incendiary bombs, stored in the fuselage. Going all the way through the North Sea, Denmark, and the Baltic sea, and using the city of Stettin (nowadays Szczecin, Poland) to find its way and turn to the right direction, the Farman managed to reach Berlin. In order to not be detected, it performed a fake landing preparation for Tempelhof airfield, making the Germans believe it was one of their aircraft. Flying at just 350 Km/h and at an altitude of just 100 meters, the Jules Verne finally found its target; it did not perform a terror raid, but an attack against a valid target: The Siemens factory of Berlin’s suburbs. As the aircraft dropped its payload (a long process; the eighty incendiary bombs had to be hand-dropped by two men), German anti-air artillery started to open fire; but the Jules Verne, after dropping all of its bombs (and the shoe of the bombardier, Corneillet, perhaps as a last “**** you” to Hitler) managed to escape, and safely landed at Orly airfield, near Paris, without having suffered significant damage. It safely landed at Orly airfield, near Paris, on the 8th of June morning, after eleven hour and forty minutes of flight; French newspapers did all relate the events, which ended up being an important propaganda success in the dark hours of June 1940. This was the first bombing of Berlin during the Second World War, months before the British made their first attempts (which would end more tragically) Following this action, Daillière and his crew were condemned to Death by Nazi Germany, and treated as pirates; to this they responded, in the pure tradition of Surcouf or Duguay-Trouin, that they were in fact corsairs.

Features all fine recessed panel lines, detailed cockpit, rotating turrets, separately molded elevators and markings for three aircraft - two Luftwaffe and one Swedish. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Do-24 was being built in Holland under license. When the Germans invaded, they found 3 done and 25 in various states of completion. The Air Ministry was looking for aircraft suitable to salvage sunk aircraft, and the Do-24 fit the bill. The American Wright engines were removed and BMWs installed. The Do-24 went on to see successful service in WWII as recon, supply and ambulance aircraft. A squadron was supplied to Spain, and one Do-24 remained operational until 1970.

Rare and out of production. Still factory tape sealed. Nicely detailed, limited-run resin kit. From aviatia.net: Polikarpov Malyutka (‘Little One’) was an Soviet secret project during WW2. It was the last aircraft of Nikolai Nikolaevich Polikarpov design, and he oversaw its progress himself. It was an OKB project, begun in June 1943. Construction of a single prototype began in early 1944. Progress was rapid until 30th July 1944, when Polikarpov suffered a massive heart attack and died at his desk. Even though the prototype was almost complete, work stopped and was never resumed. The key to the Malyutka was the existence of the NIl-1 rocket engine. Developed by the team led by Valentin Petrovich Glushko (principal Soviet designer of rocket engines during the Soviet-American Space Race), this controllable engine had a single thrust chamber fed with RFNA (concentrated nitric acid) and kerosene. Maximum thrust at sea level was 1,200kg, but in this aircraft the brochure figure was 1,000kg (2,205 lb). Bearing no direct relevance to any previous Polikarpov fighter, the airframe had a curvaceous Shpon (plastic-bonded birch laminates) fuselage sitting on a wing of D-l stressed-skin construction. The tail was also D-l alloy. The pressurized cockpit was in the nose, behind which was the radio, oxygen bottles and gun magazines, followed by a relatively enormous tank of acid and a smaller one of kerosene. The tricycle landing gears and split flaps were operated pneumatically, and the armament comprised two powerful VYa-23 cannon.Had it run a year or two earlier this might have been a useful aircraft, though it offered little that was not already being done by the BI and Type 302. At the same time, the death of the General Constructor should not have brought everything to a halt.
