Features complete suspension, steerable front wheels, full exhaust and engine detail (including rubber ignition wires and water hoses), full interior with opening doors, folding arm rest and opening storage compartment, dash instruments behind glass, opening trunk lid, detailed engine compartment and hood that opens like the prototype. Molded in tan, clear black, blue, chrome and gray plastic with real rubber tires. Never started. The Rapide first flew in 1934. It was a direct replacement for the DH-84 Dragon, but was much more similar to the DH-86 four engined airliner. The Rapide was in service for about the same length of time as the DC-3 and saw numerous rolls from bomber, ambulance, airliner, business aircraft, trainer, etc. Several are still flying today. Features decals for RAF or Ambulance versions. High quality injection molded limited run kit. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Very rare. Quality high-definition resin model of this rare subject features excellent overall detail, a superb cockpit with all crew stations and more. Never started. The parts are still in the factory sealed internal bag. Includes two decal sheets (one white and one black) and instructions. Please note that the instructions are simply full-size three view drawings, another drawing showing the camouflage pattern and text about what colors to use painting. If you do not feel confident building the model from three view plans only, then please refrain from buying this model! P.1067 was the designation for the design that would fly the Olympic Torch non-stop from Berlin to Tokyo for the 1940 Olympic games. The specialized, long range monoplane eventually took the name Bf-261 when V1 and V2 were built. Power was provided by two DB 606A-1/B-1 coupled engines, each of which was a pair of DB601 liquid-cooled mounts driving a very large four bladed propeller. There was a crew of 5 and bunks were provided. The work slowed as hostilities picked up. Without it's intended mission, the 261 was considered for ultra-long range reconnaissance over the Atlantic Ocean, but the difficulty of fixing proper defensive guns caused engineers to give up the project. The three aircraft were used for performance calibration flights, some of very long range (almost 2,800 miles). V3 did see action in very long range military reconnaissance. No further aircraft were built.

Rare model from Ex-Revell/Adams molds. Nicely detailed featuring full suspension, interior detail, rolling wheels and movable machine gun. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. This kit has a fascinating history. Adams originally cut the molds, but discontinued all model production before issuing it. Revell ended up with the molds for this and many other Adams AFV kits and issued this one in 1956. However, SNAP issued this model in the late 1950s/early 1960s. Eventually Life-Like ended up with them, but in between it was announced or issued by several other companies. Lindberg was the last known owner, so perhaps Round 2 now has them.

Still factory sealed but the seal has splits at the left side. This model features 'Struct-O-Speed' fully prefabricated construction, all die-cut balsa parts, detailed instructions, propeller and more. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.
