Air Lines Morane Saulnier MS-406C1, 1/72, 4902

Very finely molded in silver. Features separately molded ailerons, elevators and rudder. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits contain a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.

The second issue of this classic kit dated 1957. Hardbox is in fantastic 'near mint-' condition with as-new color and gloss. Slight edge wear and slight general wear are the only flaws. Well molded and detailed kit features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels and props, three man crew, optional position cabin door and two survivors in life rafts. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

1966 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood. Molded in red and clear with chrome plated parts and rubber tires. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: 3 small non-body panel parts have tire 'burn' marks from where the rubber tires made melt marks in the plastic. Instructions are photocopies.

Limited production injection molded kit. These are the famous aircraft of the airships Akron and Macon. These tiny fighters were actually based inside the naval airships in the 1930s and were launched and recovered from them. This issue did not come with decals. Has never been started and 100% complete with all parts and instructions/drawings.
