Multimedia Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
Very high quality HO craftsman kit. This model builds a very accurate prototype and is made from the same primary materials as the actual car. Features precut and milled hardwood roof, cut sides and floor, prescribed hardwood sides and other parts cut to size, metal and wood stock as required, injection molded plastic and metal detail parts, detailed full size plans with instructions and markings guide and markings for 'Duluth Winnipeg & Pacific '. This kit is designed for full underside car detail - for advanced modelers only but well worth the effort. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bags, and the parts that were not sealed have been inventoried complete.

From older but quality Fujimi molds. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufactures and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

Rare early first issue Hawk kit in the flip-top box from 1949. (Please see the article about early USA plastic kit development on this site.) The kit is molded in the correct light gloss gray with the early style stand and correct instructions. Please note that Hawk did not issue decals with this early first issue. The instructions make it clear how to paint the markings, which are raised on the moldings. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Hawk was a manufacture of 1/48 constant scale solid wooden models back in the 1920s (well before plastic), but they jumped on the plastic band wagon very early. Most of the first issue 'flip box' plastic kits were 1/48, such as this kit.

SPECIAL ORDER large (1/32) vacuform kit with resin/metal parts set. Not shipped from stock. Kit is molded upon receipt of payment. Time from receipt to shipping your kit is usually 8 to 10 weeks. Contains vacuform basic airframe components, full size plans plus metal or resin parts such as wheels, prop, struts, etc. Does not include decals. Advanced modeling skills are required to build vacuform kits. Not recommended for beginners.

Still factory sealed. Classic Cold War kit in large 1/40 scale. I have listed this as a Krugozor ('Horizon') release as it has their logo and name on a short side and appears to be dated 1975, which would align with Krugozor production. Krugozor (or MFDI) took over Yunyj Tyechinik production in the mid 1970s and production continued till 1993. Yunyj Tyechinik orignally succeeded MZMPI, which was the first kit manufacture in the USSR.

Features detailed cockpit and gear wells, optional position air brakes and two piece canopy, numerous optional parts for the different variants and a very impressive set of external stores many types of drop tanks, missiles, rockets and pylons. Includes a large and detailed decal sheet for several USSR, CSSR and Finnish aircraft. There is a color painting guide on the back of the box. Never started. Wood Model Kit, Box Condition: Good+
Laconia kits were popular for their high level of detail in the late 1940s/early 1950s. This kit is very well detailed and builds and accurate prototype. Features heavy bristol board sides that are pre-cut, scribed and factory painted for Page's Milk in yellow, silver, black, blue and white, pre-cut and milled hardwood roof, floor and other wooden parts as needed, a sealed bag of metal details, other metal stock as needed and full plans and instructions. The decorated embossed sides and ends in mint condition as they are still sealed in the factory bag. Kit has not been started and is complete with all parts, instructions and fittings. These make great stand alone models or high-quality rolling stock for your line.
