Ideal Aeroplane & Supply Revenue Cutter - 12 Inches Long, 1110

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

$38

The plans are dated 1938. This kit is part of Ideal's famous '12 Inch' series of ship models with the composition molded hull. This eliminated all the work of forming the hull from a block of wood. This hull is in 'near mint' condition with no warping and no damaged, just a few tiny edge chips at the top hull line. Also includes two sheets of printwood parts, bamboo strips, wooden dowels, full plans/instructions which include rigging details. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes the plans/instructions. The box is generally very nice but is missing the large flap on the left side. The parts are still wrapped in the plans exactly as they left the factory; the plans do have a little wear, mainly in the corners and are in 'very good' condition.

Wood Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

$22

From the early 1950s. Comet advertises that the Struct-O-Speed series 'Puts Itself Together...That Quick!' on the box top. These kits were very highly prefabricated for their time, and in comparison to the regular stick and tissue models, the claim is not unfounded. Features die-cut balsa wood main parts, about 12 inch wingspan, finished wooden wheels, paper insignia and full plane/instructions. Never started. NOTE: missing prop. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts and instructions. Die-cut wooden parts have not been punched out and are intact in the sheets.

Revell Spanish Galleon, 1/65, H400

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

$95

NOTE: builder only, please read carefully. 1974 issue. Highly detailed and large model, measuring 28.5 inches long and 25 inches high. Features full hull, detailed cannon and deck fittings, vac sails, large colorful decal sheet with designs on them as per the box artwork, large color flag sheet, pre-formed ratlines and more. Full rigging instructions and material are included. Two of the vac sails have closed splits from the plastic being brittle. The kit has no assembly and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, flag sheet, instructions, rigging diagram and rigging material. NOTE: this kit has some very neatly done painting. The hull halves, (2) rear superstructure, fantail and cannons are painted. As you can see from the sample photo, the quality of paint is 'excellent+' to 'professional' with the only problem being that another coat is required in some places (on the hull for example). Also, 2.2 inches of the port bow tip is broken and missing. Fortunately, this is a part that can be made by first assembly the hull halves, then gluing sheet styrene to the existing starboard tip. Then shape the styrene to match the starboard side.
