Has markings for three nationalities. The Beagle was the USSR's first jet bomber, first flying in 1946. As the primary Soviet light bomber, it was used by 15 nations and was built until 1960. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed but the seal has split. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware, wheels and canopy material (if required), tissue, rubber and propeller. Comet was a famous manufacture of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

First issue from 1956. Very colorful 'S' hardbox with great artwork. Nicely molded for the time with all recessed panel lines, opening front cargo door, rotating counter-rotating propellers and the clear Revell 'Globe' display stand. The model has never been started. Builds any one of four versions: NF II Night Fighter, Mk IB Bomber, Mk VI Fighter Bomber and MkII Night Intruder. Classic excellent Monogram detail. The kit has never been started. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. Very high quality HO craftsman kit. This model builds a very accurate prototype and is made from the same primary materials as the actual car. Features precut and milled hardwood roof, cut sides and floor, prescribed hardwood sides and other parts cut to size, metal and wood stock as required, injection molded plastic and metal detail parts, detailed full size plans with instructions and markings guide and markings for 'Duluth Winnipeg & Pacific '. This kit is designed for full underside car detail - for advanced modelers only but well worth the effort. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bags, and the parts that were not sealed have been inventoried complete.

From older but quality Fujimi molds. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufactures and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

Rare early first issue Hawk kit in the flip-top box from 1949. (Please see the article about early USA plastic kit development on this site.) The kit is molded in the correct light gloss gray with the early style stand and correct instructions. Please note that Hawk did not issue decals with this early first issue. The instructions make it clear how to paint the markings, which are raised on the moldings. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Hawk was a manufacture of 1/48 constant scale solid wooden models back in the 1920s (well before plastic), but they jumped on the plastic band wagon very early. Most of the first issue 'flip box' plastic kits were 1/48, such as this kit.
