Hawk Gloster Javelin Picture Gallery, 1/72, 502-98

Rare 1955 issue in the 'Picture Gallery' series. The dramatic scene shows Javelins intercepting IL-38 Bison bombers. This series was done before Bill Campbell started doing the artwork for Hawk. The current artist fell ill and Bill took over - hence the limited PG issues. Very nicely molded kit for the day. Decals are for WT946. The parts are the correct light silver glossy plastic with the interesting transparent light green stand, stand arm and canopy. Kit features full landing gear and 6 air to air missiles. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Even the remains of the Hawk glue capsule are present, including it's additional instructions for use.

NOTE: builder kit only, please read below. Excellent older kit with very good detail. Features optional parts for all three aircraft, excellent cockpit and gear well detail, optional position pilot boarding door and canopy, and more. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing pilot back half. There is one complete canopy set, but the optional center canopy is missing. Inventoried with all other parts, both decal sheets and instructions.

1960s 'Red Series' issue. Molded in medium gray, clear and with a light green Frog stand and stand arm. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the prop shaft has broken off the prop and is missing. It can be replace easily with stock plastic.

Czech Model Finnish Myrsky II Bagged, 1/72

Hard-to-find limited production craftsman kit. Czech Model (Czech Masters) kit are known for accuracy and fine, scale detail. Parts are cast in high definition resin and feature very fine recessed panel line detail. Kit is never started and complete. Due to the small size of some parts, these kits are recommended for the experienced model builder. Kit does not come with instructions, but has full drawings. Decals must be furnished by the builder.

Ringo issue - contains both kits. Very nicely molded for small scale models. These were originally ITC models. Ringo was the name ITC used to clear the warehouse of plastic kits. Rare ship model dated 1938, but I believe it is from the 1940s due to the box design. Contains the Ideal 'Premolded Hull' which is a completely formed, hollow hull made from a wood composite. The hull is in excellent condition. Also includes full size plans/instructions with rigging diagram and paint color information, wood masts as required and two sheets of printwood. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts and plans.

Very nicely molded with clean detail. Includes markings for both air forces. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Famous Russian light bomber and night intruder/interdiction aircraft from WWII. Night attacks by PO-2s were nearly impossible to stop. While the damage was not great, troops were kept awake and moral suffered.

Limited production model with injection molded parts and photoetched details. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. This unique aircraft was designed in the 1930s as a aircraft carrier-based torpedo bomber. In the fly-off competition with the AR-195 in 1938 the Fieseler proved the superior aircraft. The Technical Office ordered 12 pre-production aircraft for further trials and training on the aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. But, due to political sabotage by Luftwaffe officials, the ship was not completed. The remaining Fi-167s were sold to abroad.

Merlin Models Hawker Osprey Frog Penguin Replica, 1/72

Very limited edition replica of the historic Frog Penguin kit. Nicely molded. Also includes photocopies of the original Penguin instructions. The kit has never been started and is still sealed in the internal factory bag with all paperwork. In the late 1930s, before WWII, Frog created the world's first line of injection molded plastic model kits. Since Frog stood for 'Flies Right Off the Ground' and Frog had a famous line of flying models, the world's first all injection molded kits were called Frog Penguin for the bird that does not fly. The Penguin Osprey was among the early pre-war releases by Frog. The kit is reproduced from actual Frog Penguin kits belonging to the extensive collection of the owner of Merlin Models. Only 2000 copies were made and each is serial numbered.

Renwal Nieuport 17 Aeroskin - Lt. C.E. Nungesser's Aircraft, 1/72, 264-79

Still factory sealed. Contains pre-colored Aeroskin fabric created to resemble fabric covered aircraft. No painting needed since all designs are printed on the fabric. You build the inner structure of the aircraft then cover it, similar to the construction of the actual aircraft. Has markings for Nungesser's colorful aircraft.

Jetco Thermic 18 Glider - 13 inch Wingspan Hand-Launched

From the late 1940s/early 1950s. This is a solid balsa wood glider with a 13 inch wingspan. When properly built and trimmed, they are incredible performers. In a small thermal they can quickly climb to 60-70 feet or more and be out of sight quickly. The kit has not been started. It is complete with all parts and plans. The plans are complete and can be used but are brittle. The box is very poor.

Very highly detailed modern craftsman kit. The main parts are cast from high definition resin, which is superior in detail to injection moldings. Smaller details are resin, plastic and metal as required. Includes detailed instructions and plans as well as decals for Canadian National. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bags and the parts that were not bagged have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.
