1950s issue with excellent box art. The kit inside is a near-copy of the Highway Pioneers Model T. Premier intended to capitalize on the Gowland/Revell 1/32 classic car popularity; how well they did is unknown. The box art is definitely better than it's rival, but the kit is more basic. Molded in black with a metal wire frame windshield. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions.

1964 hardbox issue. Reissue of the old 1950s 'S' kit. Ideal builder without sacrificing your more valuable 'S' kit. Very well molded with both very fine recessed and raised panel lines. Features three crew members, three opening hatches, weapons/fuel pod and full color decals. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1980s issue. Kit features traditional stick and tissue construction, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware, wheels and canopy material (if required), tissue, rubber and propeller. The model has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Features traditional wood/tissue construction, quality printwood and strip wood, wood stock as required, fully formed wheels, thrust button, prop, rubber motor, covering tissue and detailed full size plans/building instructions. Never started and complete with all parts and full-size plans. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. JG Burn's aircraft was the one that picked up 9 downed pilots in one day during the famous air raid on Truk Lagoon in April 1944. The kit has never been started. Very nice kit. MPC combined multiple Airfix kits and Airfix HO figures with a vacuform battle terrain base and special instructions (with a huge fold-out map and battle history) to create the 'Historama' series in the 1970s. This one includes German half-track truck, 88mm gun and trailer, Rommel and 52 fighting figures as well as a desert display base. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
