The hand cranked gun stayed in production until 1911 and was first used during the US Civil War at the siege of Petersburg, Virginia.

The box is in excellent condition with all solid corners, no fading or stains, no price tags or marks . Somehow, this box escaped the factory thin tape, as there are not even any marks for that. Inside, the model is as new down to the original packing tissue. The parts are high gloss silver. The instructions are dated 1956 and correctly show the old style logo and square clear stand. The decals and stand are correct for this issue also. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals, instructions and correct square clear 2-piece stand.
