Amazing condition, true manufactures promotional model with the original box. One owner and obtained new on May 30, 1966 direct from Lincoln-Mercury by a discriminating collector (when he could not get the promo he wanted locally, he would always mail away for it). It has never been used, displayed or played with and the tires reflect that. Color and gloss are like new, as is the chrome, clear and tires. Complete with all parts. I'll grade it 9.9 out of 10 because nothing is ever really 'perfect.' The box is 'good.' I know that the red stripes near the rockers were factory painted simply because I have seen it before. The silver trim may not have been factory painted although it incredibly neat- actually better than the factory stripes! There are no AMT markings, but I have listed it as AMT as a guess since they marketed the Comet construction kits in this year and this scale.

Molded in light aqua, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome and with rubber wide whitewall tires and metal axles and body screws. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. NOTE: Missing decals and the instructions are from a Jo-Han 62 Fury Hardtop. The windshield frame has a closed crack at the top, it is an easy fix.
