First issue dated 1957. Hardbox 'S' kit with fantastic artwork features pilot figure, optional position cabin door, rotating propellers and wheels, optional position landing gear, passenger boarding stairs, full color Swissair decals and Revell 'globe' base swivel stand. The instructions have a Swissair route map and a large photo of a Swissair crew in the cockpit of the DC-7. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The box would grade much higher but has writing on it just below the yellow "DOUGLAS" text on the box top.

Early release of this kit with large and colorful Piedmont and ANA decal sheets. Very nicely molded. Features working wing flaps and rudder, rotating props and most interestingly, a complete interior including floor and all cockpit and passenger seats as well as an aircraft tow tug and tow bar. The box is complete but heavily worn with closed splits and tears on the side panels - many of which have been taped with clear tape to hold the box together.

1968 issue of the very popular Piper light aircraft. After Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they reissued the Comet civil light aircraft line. It appears that Aurora may have been inspired by the Comet kits or sales of the reissues, and they produced several more new molds to add to the line. This 180 is one of those kits. Since the kit was designed new, it has significantly more detail than the older Comet kits. Features all recessed panel lines, full interior with a sofa, two seats and instrument panel, clear windows and rotating propeller. The kit has never been started.
