Incredibly rare in this condition. Jim Walker produced a line of ready-to-fly balsa aircraft in the 1940s and early 1950s and the Hornet was one of the most popular. This is fresh hobby stock that has never been sold; I believe I was the first one to open the box. The box is in exceptional 'excellent++' condition with very little wear, great colors and perfect flaps and lids. Inside, it is factory new with all parts in great condition. Even the color printing on the wood is as new. It has never been built and has been inventoried complete. The instructions are on the box side. Very few of these survived; they were inexpensive, disposable items that were great fun to fly.

Rare early issue from the 1950s with fantastic Ray Gaedke artwork. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955. Comes with boarding ladder. Molded in the correct high gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. Very rare 1960 Motorized release with John Steel box artwork. This is the original Pre S PT boat with motorizing features added. Full hull model is 9 inches long and includes torpedoes, 20mm and 50 caliber guns, 3 crew figures, steerable rudder, reduction gears, electric motor and all running gear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The motorizing parts are still sealed in their factory bag. NOTE: Part #31, a sailor with a machine gun, has the gun base and barrel broken off. The base is present, but the barrel is missing.

Nice kit of the venerable Herc and missile. Interesting kit contains RAF decals and has a matching scale Bristol Bloodhound, launcher, transport truck and crew (with dog) included. C-130K kit is well detailed with movable control surfaces, opening cargo bay, full interior bay and cockpit detail, external fuel tanks, large display stand and rotating props. All C-130 parts are internally sealed and molded in that unique 'light mustard-green' plastic. The Bloodhound is molded in gray (possibly from a newer issue) and has been inventoried complete. Complete with decals and correct instructions that have both models on it. NOTE: this box is a reproduction box. It is very well done and complete, showing the top and all four sides. The box tray (bottom) is original and 'good.'

1960s T3 logo issue and the finest example I have seen of this kit. The box is in superb 'Excellent++ condition with light wear as the only flaw. This is a very nicely detailed model for it's time, featuring fine, correctly corrugated surfaces, optional parts for early German Civil (without cargo hatch & armament but with wheel spats and tail skid), German Air Force (early with no cargo hatch but with armament, wheel spats and tail wheel / Floatplane Version / Late with no wheel spats, with armament, cargo hatch (open or closed) tail wheel and top central engine cover and Swiss Air Force (no armament, cargo hatch or wheels spats but with tail wheel. Still factory sealed. Unique design submitted to RLM in 1944 by Richard Vogt of B&V. This aircraft featured mix propulsion; a turbojet in the pilots pod and a piston engine on the tailplane pod. It was seen as a multi role aircraft; fighter, escort, recon and bomber (it had an internal bomb bay in the fuselage). The project was not pursued due to the poor war situation at the time.

Rare kit in good condition. The notoriously thin Strombecker box was preserved with very good color and four solid corners. This model was unique in that a customer could lift the hinged, full-color 'Pin-Up' artwork to view the kit inside. The kit was (originally) sealed with a clear cellophane panel glued to the inside of the box lid. The inner cellophane is intact. Nicely molded kit with recessed panel lines and very complete decals. Features crew, ejection seats, instrument side and main panel detail, opening canopy and optional position landing gear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Strombecker was most famous for making the finest in wooden kits. During the short time that they made wooden kits, they released many interesting subjects that are desirable today.
