1960s issue from the original Marusan molds. Well molded with very fine raised panel detail and features clear canopy, complete landing gear and doors, drop tank and two SkyFlash air-to-air missiles. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

Rare kit from the late 1950s. The artwork is by Cal Smith and entitled 'Tender Flight Arriving.' The model is based on Krafft Ehricke design of Convair's Astronautics Division as a 200 foot long, 600 mile-high orbiting laboratory for 4 men. The model is molded in very light blue plastic is 24 inches long when assembled. Includes a black display stand and large stand decal. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are flat and in amazing 'excellent++' condition. The instructions are 'near mint' with typical yellowing as the only significant flaw.

From about 1991. A super high performance fun fly airplane that turns into an addiction after a few flights. The unconventional "V" tail make this airplane do things a straight tail never dreamed of. The Yankee Twister combines radical performance with some very conventional construction methods. Most of the assembly is of balsa, hard and ply woods. Some composite materials are utilized but hold no surprises and require no special tools or adhesives to make them work. Features factory cut ribs and numerous other factory cut balsa and plywood parts, fully formed wire landing gear and much more. With plans and a text instructions booklet. Never started. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the larger parts were never factory sealed and some are still held together with the original rubber bands. Inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork. NOTE: this kit came in a very sturdy and thick cardboard box. It will ship in that box wrapped in thick brown paper. Very hard-to-find, first issue from 1961. The hardbox features beautiful John Steel frameable box art titled 'Victory Off Cherbourg', which was the harbor in France very near the Kearsarge's famous duel with the Confederate ship Alabama. This very large 1/96 scale ship measures 34.5 inches long when assembled. Very highly detailed, well molded and features pre-formed ratlines, two position gun ports, guns that turn and elevate, movable propeller, special stand, name plate and 20 action figures. Inside the kit has never been started and is as it left the factory. All small parts are still sealed in the factory bags. Only the hull halves were not sealed and they are present. Complete with two types of rigging material, metal chains, rat lines, USS Kearsarge history booklet, rat line cutting pattern, instructions, rigging diagrams and flag sheet. This kit has the factory painted hull which is in 'near mint' condition.
