V3 flew well but was captured by the Americans at the end of the war. It was taken to the USA and probably evaluated but it's disposition remains unknown. Basic vac kit with clear canopy. Hardbox issue dated 1962. The famous Memphis Belle was the first 8th Air Force Bomber to complete the 25 mission rotation over Hitler's Germany. This is an all-time classic Revell kit with many operating features including movable gun turrets, movable control surfaces, opening bomb bay, rotating props and wheels and retracting landing gear. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box has great color and gloss but is graded only 'good-' because of the litho tear at the lower right of the box top.
