From 1977 and from the original Airfix molds, which were very well detailed for that time. Features 'good' interior detail, crew members, optional position canopies, rotating wheels and prop, optional bomb or torpedo configurations and folded or unfolded wings. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. This issue is from the MPC 'Air Combat Collection', which includes ground crew. Note that this issue does not have 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued (possibly with this issue) although MPC continued to distribute Airfix models.

This model was Revell's excellent answer to everyone who wanted a big, beautiful Cutty Sark but did not want to build the giant and complex 1/96 scale issue. Features molded ratlines, three sheets of vac sails (in 'excellent+' condition), full deck details, decals, flag sheet, display stand, standing and running rigging thread and rigging instructions. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE there is bug damage to the backing paper of the decals. The actual transfers have no damage.

Still factory sealed. From the mid 1960s. 17 inch wingspan kit for rubber free flight or control line. Features an innovative system for dropping leaflets in flight. Includes quality die-cut balsa sheet parts, strip wood and spars, light plastic full engine cowl and other parts, die-cut clear windscreen, fully formed wire landing gear struts, finished main and tail wheels, rubber motor and plastic prop, covering tissue, a big sheet of full color decal and full size plans with excellent instructions. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits compared to other manufacturers.
